PCB Design Capabilities
Schematic & Layout
Schematic and Layout tools from OrCAD (Cadence), PCAD (Altium) or other CAD of choice.
Schematic Capture, net-list generation, PCB component placement to minimize trace lengths.
Impedance calculations match the dynamic signal impedance on different layers.
Layer planning for Multilayer boards determine the best placement of layers based on signal priority.
Trace routing carried out with a combination of Manual and Automated routing.
Final Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Design For Manufacture (DFM) cleanup.
Gerber file generation direct to PCB FAB-House or customer. (Needed to manufacture the PCB).
Renix will interface directly with the PCB Fabrication House to get the boards manufactured. Many times they will tweak the design to optimally flow in their design process. Information on type of PCB bare-board tests, Fly-lead, Net list Tests, Impedance tests or other also needs to be communcicated.
PCB Production
Although not strictly part of the design process, PCB production is and integral part of Electronics Design. Design for Manufacturability is key for the production success at the end of the design cycle. Renix Electronics has the experience to incorporate this into a design, as well as provide guidance in a consulting capacity.
